Franck Thilliez.
Franck Thilliez was born in Annecy in 1973, and is an author of crime novels and a screenwriter. Trained as an engineer, he specialized in computer science.
He combined this passion with writing to give birth to his first novel, “Conscience animale” in 2002.
In 2005, he published “La Chambre des morts”, which Alfred Lot used as the script for his 2007 film.
In 2006, his second novel won the Prix des lecteurs Quai du polar and the Prix SNCF du Polar français in 2007.
From 2006 onwards, he published a series of thrillers featuring his main characters, Franck Sharko and Lucie Henebelle.
He also published “one-shots”, “La Forêt des ombres” in 2006, “L’Anneau de Moebius” in 2008 and “Fractures” in 2009, mixing psychiatry, neuroscience and cinema.
In 2010, he signed his first opus, which reunited his two heroes, Franck Sharko and Lucie Henebelle, in a trilogy on the theme of violence: “Le Syndrome E” was an immediate success, ranking among the bestsellers as soon as it was released.
Franck Thilliez wrote his first screenplay, “Obsessions”, for Frédéric Tellier, broadcast in 2010, for which he won the Prix Mireille Lantéri in 2011.
